Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Matt Mathews is a stand-up comedian, social media star, multi award-winning boudoir photographer, and the host of the hit podcast Real Talk with Matt Mathews.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Matt skyrocketed into the social media stratosphere through his hilariously raw social posts and side-splitting short-form videos-earning him over 3 million followers on TikTok and over 1 million followers on lnstagram. Widely-known and celebrated for his relatability and situational humor, Matt discusses a variety of topics and personal experiences in his stand-up, including his daily life of living on a farm, growing up as a gay man in Alabama, his career as a boudoir photographer, relationships, and taboo sexual encounters. Matt also brings his ever-popular “Confessions with Matt” video series to the live stage, where he provides a real-time comedic take on audience members who voluntarily spill their deepest, darkest secrets.
