Each program book includes informative commentary and background information about the music and composers. Programs books are distributed digitally and a condensed physical copy will be available at Masterworks and Pops performances.

Program notes are provided for each performance and are intended to inform listeners about the composer’s lives and the historical background of the works. Our writers talk about the music in a clear and friendly way with notes written to encourage open-minded listening to new works or provide fresh insights for hearing familiar pieces.

Notes will be available on the Spokane Symphony website the week before the concert as well as sent to ticket holders the week of the concert.
