THE MUSIC

Igor Stravinsky Divertimento from The Fairy’s Kiss
Stravinsky blends Tchaikovsky’s beautiful melodies with his own intense rhythms in this tribute to Tchaikovsky, his childhood idol.

Sergei Rachmaninoff — Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
Featuring Joyce Yang. Rachmaninoff wrote this set of variations a theme by the 18th century virtuoso violinist to showcase his virtuosity as a pianist. It includes the breathtaking music heard in movies, Somewhere in Time and Groundhog Day.
