“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue…” featuring guest artist Keith Thomas, oboe, and quartet members Mateusz Wolski and Amanda Howard Phillips, violins, Jeannette Wee-Yang, viola and Helen Byrne, cello. The program includes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s String Quartet No. 22 in Bb Major, K. 589 with its romantic Largo, Arnold Bax’s Quintet No. 1 for Oboe and String Quartet, and Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quintet No. 2 in Bb Major, Op. 87, arranged for Oboe and String Quartet by Peggy Pearson.
